VisAbility was delighted to host the Royal Guide Dogs Australia Board and the Guide Dogs Australia Chief Executive Officers at the Perron Centre on Saturday 8 September.
The 13 attendees, which include VisAbility’s CEO Dr Clare Allen and VisAbility’s Chair of the Board Mrs Debbie Schaffer (OAM), meet bi-annually to discuss progress against the GDA vision for year and how to best continue to empower people living with disability across Australia.
This meeting was a resounding success, and the interstate travellers were pleased to be treated to early spring sunshine in Perth.
“It was a pleasure and honour to host GDA representatives in Western Australia and to collaborate for the greater good of our clients,” said Dr Clare Allen, VisAbility’s CEO.
“VisAbility is proud to be part of GDA, which has a respected and long standing history of providing services to the Blind, Vision impaired community.”
