VisAbility and the Friends of Kings Park invite you to join us for a unique bushland experience. Celebrate International White Cane Day 2024 by taking your White Cane for a leisurely Spring bush walk through Kings Park.
Enjoy a sensory experience as you feel the change of the land under foot. Listen to the sounds of the native birds and animals. Take a moment to enjoy the fresh smells of the Earth and bush. Touch and feel the plants, as you explore the walking trail with your Cane.
The volunteer guides will lead us, explaining along the way the many native plants and animals encountered. The park volunteers will discuss Kings Park’s fascinating biodiversity, geology, history and current conservation projects.
