VisAbility offers Western Australia’s only playgroup during school term specifically for children who have vision impairment.
Many parents say Playgroup is a great way to connect with others, share experiences and learn skills to promote their child’s development. The sessions are facilitated by our qualified Social Worker, Michelle Shinnick.
A typical session at Playgroup includes:
- Morning circle
- Book sharing
- Free play, such as a sensory craft
- Morning tea
- Outside play
- Farewell song
